What is an obstacle?

As I don’t want to drive you into a very long and confusing theory: an obstacle is set on your path to stop you just as much as an island is placed in the seas to stop a tide: it isn’t. An obstacle is simply a series of events which coincide in giving to one’s eyes an unpleasant result. Just remember, an obstacle which closes a road, as just as likely to open another… just as a wall which stops a river creates a bridge.
